History

Able Sewing Machine was first located in Raynham at CoJean Plaza and after 12 years, we moved 100 New State Hwy on Route 44. When the owner started Able Sewing, he had already been in the sewing business for years with a partner. This step up was a solo ownership business plan. After 9 happy years there, the decision was made to move once again, this time to a smaller, better location (in a cozy strip mall) We are now at Dean's Plaza just 1/2 mile from our last location. Still on Route 44!

Specialties

Able Sewing is an exclusive Janome sewing machine dealer. We carry a full line of Janome sewing, quilting and embroidery machines. In addition we carry Janome sergers. Our service to the Janome machines we sell include unlimited, private machine instruction and complete servicing in house by certified technicians. We also service and repair other brands of sewing machines. In support of sewing, we do have sewing and quilting classes and our schedule can be found on our website. We also carry Oreck vacuum cleaners. We service and repair most brands of vacuums.
