New Psalmist Baptist Church in Baltimore, MD has a rich history that dates back over 120 years. Founded in 1899 by Rev. Junius Gray, the church has grown from its humble beginnings in a basement to a multi-million dollar worship center and ministry complex on 19 acres of land. Under the leadership of Bishop Walter S. Thomas, the church has experienced tremendous growth, with over 7,000 active members and a wide range of ministries and programs aimed at serving the community.

New Psalmist Baptist Church is dedicated to making a positive impact on the lives of others. With a mission to make life better for someone else, the church has formed partnerships with local schools and nursing homes, operates a food pantry, and provides support to families in need during the holiday season.
