Grace Episcopal Day School

Founded in 1960 by the Women of Grace Church, Grace Episcopal Day School offers educational and recreational programs for students in preschool through grade eight. Its educational program includes instruction in Spanish, math, computers and science. The school also conducts classes in reading, music, art and physical education. Grace Episcopal Day School maintains a staff of more than 20 teachers, as well as a librarian and several psychologists. It has a parent-teacher organization that conducts various events for parents, teachers and students. Grace Episcopal Day School is a member of and accredited by the Association of Independent Maryland Schools. Its early childhood program is accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children. The school maintains one of its locations in Kensington, Md.
