History
Harry and Sigmund Weis founded Weis Markets in 1912, when they opened Weis Pure Foods in Sunbury, Pa. Today, Harry's grandson, Jonathan oversees a company with stores in Pennsylvania, Maryland, New York, New Jersey, Delaware, Virginia and West Virginia and employ more than 19,000 associates. We process our own milk and use the excess butterfat to make our Weis Quality Ice Cream - 50 flavors and growing! We are also proud to support local farmers. In Pennsylvania alone, we annually buy more than 20 million pounds of locally grown produce and we also purchase local produce in all of the states where we have stores. Our company and associates are committed to being good neighbors. Each year, we support local food, pet, and veteran's organizations. We also donate to community health care organizations. We are also committed to reducing our environmental impact. In a given year, we recycle more than 23,000 tons of cardboard, 750 tons of plastic and 329 tons of paper.

Where do I start, only one full service checkout. Old wilted vegetables many times they are missing items. People are not helpful, seem to be more interested just standing around. Live in...
