Psychiatric Rehabilitation Program (PRP) is an array of services designed to help an individual to capitalize on personal strengths, to develop coping strategies and skills to deal with deficits, and to develop a supportive environment in which to function as independently as possible. Psychosocial rehabilitation services are provided in a variety of settings. Psychotherapy is a general term referring to therapeutic interaction or treatment contracted between a trained mental health professional and a client or patient, family, couple or group. The problems addressed are psychological in nature. Psychotherapy aims to increase the individual's sense of his/her own well-being.
