The Upper Bay Museum is a non-profit all-volunteer organization, dedicated to preserving the lifestyle of the waterman and hunter of the upper Chesapeake Bay. The mission of the Upper Bay Museum is: to collect, preserve and display historical documents and artifacts; to use them to teach the Heritage of the Upper Chesapeake Watermen; to maintain the century-old H. L. Harvey Company commercial fish house as a museum building; to promote activities to conserve and propagate Chesapeake Bay waters, marine life, waterfowl and upland game. We are typically open from Memorial Day to Labor Day each year. Check our website or Facebook page for details.
