I love Tuckahoe's campsite, especially the Dog Wood (dog friendly) cabin. Tuckahoe offers traditional camp sites as well as an electric loop for RVs, etc, which is where the Dog Wood cabin is...

I just had a great two night, mid-week stay in the tent only (Heron) loop of the Tuckahoe campground, site #42. The spacing and woodsy shading in this part of the campground provides more privacy...

Beautiful quiet State park with large level sites. Electric in one loop but no water at sites. Big well-kept bath house.
