Trimper Rides and Amusement Park

Trimper Rides is the premiere amusement park on the boardwalk in Ocean City, MD. Located between the Inlet and South Division Street in Downtown Ocean City, guests can enjoy rides, games and carnival style foods. In many ways Trimper Rides is just as much a museum as it is an amusement park. Some rides/amusements have been in the park for several decades, and the crown jewel is the more than 100-year-old Herschell-Spillman Carousel featuring a myriad of hand carved animals, not just the traditional carousel horse. The carousel alongside many other rides, walls, benches, and other trinkets throughout the park are hand painted with beautiful figures, landscapes, and characters. The park features rides and games for all ages. It boasts the Tidal Wave roller coaster, a Himalaya and for part of the summer season the 150 foot Big Wheel. Visitors to the park return year after year to delight in nostalgia, excitement, and togetherness.
