American Hotel & Lodging Association is a 96-year-old association of lodging properties and companies throughout the United States. Members are represented by AH&LA at the national level as well as by partner state associations. With more than 10,000 members in the U.S. and internationally, AH&LA provides advocacy on Capitol Hill, education, marketing, information and bottom-line benefits. AH&LA is not a consumer organization and has no regulatory powers over the operating practices of individual lodging properties. The association s headquarters is in Washington, D.C.

SRI International is an independent, nonprofit research institute that conducts client-sponsored research and development for government agencies, commercial businesses, foundations and other organizations. The institute was founded in 1946 and is located in Arlington, Va. It is organized into various divisions with, including engineering and systems, policy, information and computing sciences, biosciences and physical sciences. The institute s engineering and systems division conducts engineering research, integration, and systems engineering and development services for government clients. Its policy division develops research-based solutions to problems posed by rapid social, technological and economic changes in the society. The biosciences division offers various services, including basic research, target validation, lead discovery and optimization, radiochemical synthesis, pharmacokinetics and quality assurance. SRI International s clients include the National Science Foundation, the U.S. Agency for International Development and the Department of Education.
