History

We have a combined 45 years in food, hospitality, music and entertainment industries. Through our career journeys, we have learned that good food and good music is the cornerstone of any gathering. We are a family based business Executive Chef and Owner Kevin Shorter has spent 16 years working every aspect of the food service industry, from dishwasher to Service Manager. He got his roots much like a lot of chefs do in the kitchen with his Grandmother cooking for all the family affairs. After watching and helping his father for 30 years work in the music and entertainment industry, as a DJ, booking agent, radio personality and a few appearances on TV, decided it was time to take their passion for Food and Entertainment to the next level and started Top Hat Catering and Entertainment.
