The Arc of Frederick County Inc

Community Living was founded in 1979 as a nonprofit agency providing residential and support services for people with developmental disabilities in the Frederick County region in Maryland. It provides homes throughout the community for persons with developmental disabilities, ranging from semi-independent to profoundly and multiple disables. It serves more than 100 people, aged 21 onwards in over 25 homes. The agency s homes vary in design from ranchers to bungalows and apartments to split-levels houses. Its primary funding source is the State of Maryland s Developmental Disabilities Administration and it also conducts various fundraising activities throughout the year. Community Living is a member of the Frederick County United Way and is located in Frederick, Md.
