The Strawbridge Shrine, located in New Windsor, Maryland, is the historic home of Robert and Elizabeth Strawbridge, dating back to circa 1760. This significant site marks the origins of Methodism in America, where Robert Strawbridge played a vital role in establishing the denomination through his circuit riding efforts.

In addition to the original farmhouse, the shrine features the Evans House, home to America's first recorded convert, and the Log Meeting House, an authentic replica of the first Methodist house of worship. Visitors can explore the center's displays, artifacts, and a gift shop, while learning about the rich history of Methodism and its early leaders.
