The Strawbridge Shrine, located in New Windsor, Maryland, is the historic home of Robert and Elizabeth Strawbridge, dating back to circa 1760. This significant site marks the origins of Methodism in America, where Robert Strawbridge played a vital role in establishing the denomination through his circuit riding efforts.
