History
Established 1992, Speakeasy was the first restaurant in Canton square. No detail is left unattended in their elegant, yet comfortable 1920's drawing room decor. Elements of the original 'corner joint' - a 150 year old staircase and tin ceiling antiqued in gold - are jazzed by life sized murals and strategically placed mirrors that invite you to imagine rubbing elbows with flappers and gangsters. I've always had a decent time at Speakeasy. I'm usually with regulars so I get the regular treatment. This bar always has High Noons, which are a must! The food is decent, I enjoyed the burger....
