School Based Wellness Center

The Wicomico County Health Department offers a variety of services to promote the physical behavioral and environmental health through preventive, educational, assessment, clinical, monitoring and regulatory programs. The department provides the psychiatric rehabilitation program that includes individual rehabilitation planning, case management and on-site services. It also offers diagnosis, treatment, epidemiological investigation and monitoring for patients with active and latent diseases. In addition, the department provides breast and cervical cancer screening services for women between the ages of 40 and 64. It is a part of Wicomico County, Md., which also operates planning and zoning, city council, finance and budget, human resources, parks and recreation, tourism and public works departments. The Wicomico County Health Department is located in Salisbury, Md.
