Sailing Emporium

The Sailing Emporium was established in 1978, our goal was to provide a nurturing environment for family boating. Although we have evolved into a service yard that routinely performs duties ranging from a simple oil change to a major refit of a fine yacht, the family environment is still our most important consideration. We are a family-owned and managed marina, and we have always enjoyed the satisfaction of our personal relationship with customers and employees. To utilize esoteric, space-age technology on a wood-planked 34 foot Hinckley, breathing new life into that forgotten art form, is an achievement. But what makes it all worthwhile, is to work one-on-one with the owner who has committed his hard-earned money, and his dreams, to our ability to perform. A walk around our grounds will convince you of our commitment to the more personal side of boating. Spotless washrooms, carefully tended gardens, faithfully replicated colonial buildings, and a friendly and courteous staff are the embodiment of our continuing efforts. The Sailing Emporium is located in the protected, southeast corner of Rock Hall Harbor. Access from the Bay is well marked and the channel approaches are federally maintained to a depth of ten feet. The pilgrim-red building of the marina can be seen from quite a distance out on the Bay.
