Dr. Sachin K. Gujar is an Assistant Professor and Magnetic Resonance Section Chief in Johns Hopkins Department of Radiology and Radiological Sciences. His area of clinical expertise is Neuroradiology. He earned his M.B.B.S. (medical degree) from Byramjee Jeejeebhoy Medical College in Pune, India. After completing a radiology residency (M.D.) at the same college, he completed a two-year neuroradiology fellowship at the University of Michigan, and subsequently was on faculty at University of Michigan for over 5 years. Dr. Gujar has been a member of the Johns Hopkins Neuroradiology faculty since 2008. Dr. Gujar’s areas of clinical interest include all aspects of adult neuroradiology, including head and neck radiology, spine and spinal cord disorders, and cerebrovascular diseases, with particular interest in brain tumor imaging, physiologic imaging, and Functional MRI. He has published numerous articles on various topics in Neuroradiology.

Angelo Michael DeMarzo, MD

Dr. Angelo De Marzo is a professor of pathology, oncology and urology at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. His areas of clinical expertise include pathology and prostate cancer. Dr. De Marzo serves as the Deputy Director for Anatomic Pathology in the Department of Pathology, and Co-Director of the Immunohistochemistry Clinical Lab in Johns Hopkins Hospital. He also serves as the Associate Director of Cancer Research Pathology at the Sidney Kimmel Comprehensive Cancer Center. Dr. De Marzo founded the Tissue Microarray Core at Johns Hopkins, now known as the Oncology Tissue Services. He led it for a decade and now serves as an advisor to the core. Dr. De Marzo's research interests include the molecular pathobiology of prostate cancer, biospecimen banking, and biomarker development, especially using immunohistochemistry, in situ hybridization and multiplex IHC and image analysis. Dr. De Marzo received his B.A. in molecular, cellular and developmental biology and psychology from the University of Colorado at Boulder. He earned his M.D. and Ph.D. in experimental pathology from University of Colorado Health Sciences Center. He completed his residency in pathology at the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine and performed a fellowship at the Brady Urological Institute at Johns Hopkins. Dr. De Marzo joined the Johns Hopkins faculty in 1998. Dr. De Marzo served as Chief Medical Officer at Predictive Biosciences Inc. from 2011-2013. He served as an Associate Editor for the Journal of Clinical Investigation from 2017-2022. He currently serves on the editorial boards of the journals, The Prostate and Cancer Prevention Research. He is the recipient of the 2004 Donald S. Coffey Prostate Cancer Foundation Physician/Scientist Award and The Professors Award for Teaching Excellence at The Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine (2022). He is an elected member of the Association of American Physicians (2018) and is a member of various professional organizations, including the American Urological Association and the American Association for Cancer Research.
