Edenton Retirement Community, with its facilities in Frederick, Md., offers various residential rental communities for older adults who want to remain as independent as possible, as well as those who may require some help with daily living. It offers wide range of services, including its independent living community, which includes more than 80 cottages with ground floor entrances that can be modified for wheelchair accessibility. Each cottage has a kitchen with appliances, porch and front lawn areas, a washer and dryer hookup, laundry room, cable television, and 24-hour security. It offers group residences for those who need assistance with the activities of daily living, and prepares individual care plans for residents to help them live as independently as possible. Edenton Retirement Community also offers dementia care assisted living and features two group homes for senior citizens with Alzheimer s disease and other memory-related disorders.
