Roderick Kreisberg, MD

After graduating from Harvard College with a degree in Economics, Michael Schindler, MD headed “west” (actually, mid Massachusetts) to earn his medical degree at the University of Massachusetts in Worcester. While in medical school, he married his childhood sweetheart Susan, a Speech Pathologist and Parent Educator for Montgomery County Schools. He completed his Internal Medicine training at Johns Hopkins Hospital where his son, Adam, was born. He returned to the University of Massachusetts for his Gastroenterology training where his daughter, Shari, arrived on a snowy New England day.

Nissrin M. Ezmerli, MD grew up in the Washington Metropolitan Area, graduating with a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy from The George Washington University where she was elected to Phi Beta Kappa. She continued her education and training at The George Washington University where she attended medical school and completed her Internal Medicine residency. Dr. Ezmerli was recognized by the Division of Internal Medicine at The George Washington University with the Intern of the Year Award and by the Division of Internal Medicine at the Veterans Administration Hospital with the Resident of the Year Award. She also served an additional year as Chief Medical Resident, where she spent time working with and teaching medical residents and students.

About us Joseph J. Genovese, Jr., MD Dr. Genovese trained at university programs in Maryland, Texas and Pennsylvania prior to joining private practice in 1987. He is a native to Montgomery County and has enjoyed practicing in the area over the past 24 years.
