RESTART Program at Eckhart School

The Center for Career and Technical Education serves more than 300 students in grades 10 and 11. The school s academic curriculum includes English, social studies, mathematics, reading and foreign languages. It also offers instruction in Welding, Automobile Collision, Law Enforcement, carpentry, masonry, cosmetology and computer technology. The Center for Career and Technical Education administers special education programs for students with special needs. The center maintains a library that offers a variety of educational resources and materials. It has bike, guitar, Spanish, book and military clubs. The Center for Career and Technical Education offers opportunities for students to participate in sports activities. It also has a student council, as well as supports the Future Business Leaders of America. The center is governed by Allegany County Public Schools.

Calvary Christian Academy is a ministry of Calvary Baptist Church. The school enrolls students in kindergarten through grade 12, and its curriculum addresses the needs of students in the areas of spiritual, mental, physical and social development. The school s academic curriculum includes reading, writing, typing, mathematics, geography, history and science. It also offers various sports programs, such as baseball, cheerleading, hockey, football, softball, soccer, volleyball, basketball and track and field, and has various teams. The school also offers various extracurricular activities, and has a National Honors Society and school newspaper, known as the Eagle s Eye. Calvary Christian Academy is located in Cresaptown, Md.
