Paint Branch High School

Paint Branch High School operates under Montgomery County Public Schools. Located in Burtonsville, Md., the school offers classes from grades nine through 12. It provides instruction in a wide range of subjects, such as geometry, English, algebra, biology, government, math, business and computer science. The school also offers classes in family and consumer science, foreign languages, physical and health education, special education, science, fine arts and television production. Paint Branch High School provides a variety of programs, including science and media signature, emotional disabilities, Naval Junior Reserve Officers Corps, and learning and academic disabilities. The school also provides several activities, including field trips, chess and computer science clubs, debate teams, international and forensic clubs, photography and psychology clubs, peer mediation team and National Honor Society. It has a parent-teacher association that participates in various school events.
