North Harford High School

North Harford Elementary School has an annual enrollment of more than 500 students in prekindergarten through grade five. The school s facilities include more than 20 regular working classrooms and a computer lab that is equipped with over 25 computers. It has a library media center that houses a collection of more than 14,000 books. The school s core curriculum includes music, physical education, art, speech, math, science, social studies, basic skills and special education. It is a part of Harford County Public Schools, which operates more than 50 elementary, middle, high, charter and vocational schools and serves over 39,000 students annually. North Harford Elementary School has been operational for more than 20 years and is located in Pylesville, Md.

North Harford Middle School, also known as NHMS, serves more than 1,100 students annually in grades six through eight and employs over 85 people. Its curriculum includes language arts, math, science, social studies, physical education and technology applications. In addition, North Harford Middle School provides speech and language therapy and guidance counseling services. The school offers various extracurricular activities, such as drama, art, music, band, chorus and orchestra. North Harford Middle School supports the Reading Counts! program to encourage students to improve academic confidence and reading skills. The school has a parent-teacher-student association that participates in the development, implementation and funding of various events. It is a part of Harford County Public Schools.

Opened in 1991, North Bend Elementary School serves more than 400 students and employs over 25 teachers. The school enrolls students in prekindergarten through grade five. The school s academic curriculum includes physical education, reading, science, English, math and social studies. In addition to classroom experiences, students are taught in special areas of art, media, music and technology. North Bend Elementary School also organizes several activity groups and social and cultural events. The school maintains a parent-teacher association that sponsors many educational programs for students, funds special trips and offers support to the entire school community. North Bend Elementary School is located in Jarrettsville, Md.
