Norair Engineering

Henry Norair founded Norair Engineering in 1935. He located the business in Washington, D.C., to take advantage of the growing market for central heating and air conditioning. The company specializes in pump stations, treatment plants, municipal and federal infrastructure and process facilities. It installs process piping, plumbing and heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems. The renovation and repair of existing owner occupied and operating plants and buildings is the majority of its work. Norair Engineering also offers plumbing and HVAC renovation for apartments. Some of its projects include the Goddard power plant for the United States Navy, The Smithsonian Museum of American History, the Williamsburg Va., wastewater treatment plant for Anheiser Busch and Pentagon Metro Station for the Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority.
