In 1991, Ms M Therese (Terry) Kelly was approached by a former student and asked to teach her son to read using the Lindamood-Bell LIPS (R) program. After receiving training from Phyllis Lindamood at the corporate offices of Lindamood-Bell Learning Process (R) in San Luis Obispo, CA, Ms Kelly began using the strategies with success.
