Neelsville Middle School

Established in 1997, Hollifield Station Elementary School offers academic classes to more than 800 students in prekindergarten through grade five. It is a part of Howard County Public School System and is located in Ellicott City, Md. The school s curriculum includes English, math, reading, writing, vocabulary, science, speech, social studies and history. It organizes various extracurricular activities, such as music events, theater performances and visual arts exhibitions. The school also provides food, health, transportation, and guidance and counseling services. It maintains a school council and a parent-teacher organization. The school provides coaching and training in a variety of sports, including cross country, football, soccer, swimming, tennis, volleyball, basketball, cheerleading, wrestling, baseball, softball, and track and field. It has educational partnerships with Towson University and Eastern Savings Bank. Hollifield Station Elementary School operates the Regional Early Childhood Center.

Linganore High School, located in Frederick, Md., is a public school that offers educational and extracurricular programs to students in grades nine through 12. More than 1,500 students are enrolled in the school that offers subjects, such as English, mathematics, social studies, science, computer education, technology, business, music, art, and health and physical education. The school is designated a Maryland and National Blue Ribbon School. Through the development of small learning communities, freshmen participate in the school s first-year LEAP program, a transitional step between middle and high school. All students are connected with career pathway academies. Another program encourages positive personal development for both students and parents. The school is affiliated with the Frederick County Public Schools.
