The Korean Community Service Center of Greater Washington is a nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering Asian Americans and new immigrants in the metropolitan DC area. They are committed to working with you and your family to solve the problems for which you seek help. This is an outline of the partnership we envision establishing with you and your family. If you have any questions, please be sure to discuss them with your counselor. Quality of Service We strive to provide high quality service. All services provided by Family and Children's Services are delivered by qualified staff under the supervision of experienced personnel. There will be periodic reviews of your service plan, with ample opportunity for reassessment and refinement of the plan. Many, but not all, of our programs charge a fee based upon a sliding scale that takes into account family income and, in some cases, family size and other expenses. Staff will work with you to determine your specific fee. We accept insurance reimbursement, when available. We accept most insurance plans and provide out-of-network coverage to those who have plans in which we do not participate. We are a participating member in Maryland Health Partners and Medical Assistance

Founded in 1971, Humanim is a nonprofit organization that serves individuals with disabilities and is located in Columbia, Md. It offers a wide range of mental health services, such as crisis intervention, psychiatric evaluation, group and family therapies, treatment planning and review and therapeutic day programs. It also offers a variety of neurorehabilitation services that include neuropsychological assessment, acute comprehensive rehabilitation, day and residential programs and training seminars for families and professionals. In addition, the organization provides vocational services, including career assessment, job placement and coaching, employment program and supported employment alternatives. Humanim has a student assessment center that provides specialized assessment and treatment to maximize social and academic functioning.
