The first Kiddie Academy International Child Care Learning Center opened its doors in Baltimore in 1981. It began franchising its Child Care Learning Center concept in 1992. During the years, the company s team of professionals, with decades of experience in the fields of education, center design, construction and operations, has established a first-rate lesson plan for designing, establishing and maintaining quality childcare academies. The lesson plan starts with its free-flowing floor plan design, safety features and equipment. Kiddie Academy developed an education-based childcare program that is designed to respond to the increasing demand for childcare. Each Kiddie Academy location utilizes an age-appropriate, education-based curriculum designed to promote each child's intellectual, social, physical and emotional growth. The program also emphasizes continuous, open communication between teachers and parents concerning each child's development. Kiddie Academy International maintains a location in Bel Air, Md.
