Matapeake Elementary School

Matapeake Elementary School is a part of Queen Anne s County Public Schools. Located in Stevensville, Md., the school has an enrollment of more than 530 students every year. It is located on more than 40 acres of land, and it serves students in prekindergarten through grade five. The school offers a wide curriculum that includes reading, writing, English, science, social studies, mathematics and physical education. It also offers classes in instrumental and vocal music, arts, information technology and media. Its media center features a computer system with Internet access in a computer laboratory and distributive network to all classrooms. The school s staff includes subject teachers, special educators, psychologists, speech, nurses, and occupational, speech and physical therapists.
