History

The Maryland Seafood Festival is a rich tradition in the State and has been held annually for 50 years, with the most recent 30 years being held the weekend after Labor Day at Sandy Point State Park in Annapolis, Maryland. That tradition has been built around a safe, family friendly environment showcasing the great seafood that Maryland has to offer while bringing people from all over the East Coast in the off season.

We want to welcome you to the 52nd Annual Maryland Seafood Festival filled with a variety of delicious seafood, exciting and new demonstrations and competitions, toe tapping musical entertainment, kids activities, loads of shopping options, vendors, exhibits, contests and more! We encourage you to enjoy the extensive variety of activities, the good food and drink, and have a relaxing great time on the beautiful shores of the Chesapeake Bay! General Admission tickets are $15. Children 12 and under are free. We also have a VIP admission that offers access to a special VIP tent, air conditioned bathrooms, unlimited beer, wine, water, and soda, and VIP parking. Festival is from 10am to 9pm on Saturday, and 10am to 7pm on Sunday. Parking is available at Anne Arundel Community College Lots A & B for $5 per car (payable at AACC). Limited parking is also available at Sandy Point State Park with a pre-purchased parking pass for $10. Live entertainment is provided during the weekend long event. Special events include the Crab Soup Cook-off, Chef Demonstrations, Beer and Oyster tent, and much more. The Festival also features a large variety of artisans and craft vendors, interactive kids zone, beach volleyball tournament, and much more. There is plenty to do, for all members of the family.

Over priced. Over crowded cash grab. I went for the 2023 festival and it sucked. I hope they don't try this crap again in 2024. Whoever was in charge should never be given the opportunity again...
