Beautiful get way weekend. I can't wait to come back. The staff was very helpful and conversational.

One and a half hours from D.C. and Baltimore we have a small tree house campground and are open year round. There are a variety of camping options, the Hobbit House, Firefly Deluxe Treehouse, Dragonfly Fairy House and Tree Cottages have wood stoves and mattresses. There are a variety of tree houses, they do not have mattresses or wood stoves. Each site has a fire circle, picnic table, and grill. The bathrooms and showers are centrally located. We have secluded wooded tent sites. We are 7 miles from river rafting, tubing, horseback riding, zip-lining, and a ten-minute walk from the Appalachian Trail. Also, 10 minutes from a train into D.C.

We stayed at the firefly for 1 night for a quick girls trip. It was $124 a night, now it has increased to $134. I feel the price is a bit high as the amenities offered are the same as the regular...

Had animals living in the walls. The caretakers clearly did not care when it was reported. Caretakers also harassed us nearly every day about quiet time hours before quiet time. Would not recommend.

This is just a wonderful place... the people, the location, the cabins & campsites. We've stayed here over and over with family and friends and everybody always loves it. I can't wait for next...
