Just went to their new cocktail room "The Golden Hour" and was very impressed! The decor and ambiance was colorful and fun. The staff was so friendly and the drinks were delicious, our favorites...

LYON RUM Distillery is a micro distillery located in Saint Michaels, Maryland, steps from the Chesapeake Bay. Founded in 2012, the distillery launched with a signature line of rums paying tribute to the rich, spirited traditions of the Eastern Shore. Hand-crafted from start to finish, LYON RUM begins as intentionally-sourced raw ingredients, and are hand-crafted – mashed, fermented, and double-distilled in small pot stills – every step of the way, resulting in a superior and unique final product. The goal is to create distinct spirits – working to define the category of new American rum. The distillery is also home to Gray Wolf Craft Spirits, also distilled on-site.

I loved this Lyon Rum/Gray Wolf shop. It's very cute and homey and it feels like a boutique. The staff was so friendly. You can sample the spirits, but when we visited, full tastings and cocktails...

Their flavored rums are outstanding. The bar I work for has a dedicated cocktail menu for Lyon Rum.

The only vodka I'm willing to drink straight is made here by Gray Wolf. The Lyon rum products are top-notch, and though it is a small facility, excellent and instructive tour. Not easily handicap...
