Luke Andrew Botting, DO

Dr. Moonjung Jung is an Assistant Professor of Medicine at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. Dr. Jung graduated Summa Cum Laude from Ewha Womans University College of Medicine in Seoul, South Korea. She then completed the Internal Medicine residency training at Houston Methodist Hospital, Weill Cornell Medical College, Houston, TX and the Hematology and Medical Oncology fellowship training at National Institutes of Health, Bethesda, MD. In 2016, Dr. Jung joined the Rockefeller University as an Instructor in Clinical investigation. She received M.S. in Clinical Investigation from the Rockefeller University. In 2021, Dr. Jung joined the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine as faculty in the Division of Hematology.

Dr. Francis Deng is an expert in neuroradiology, specializing in diagnostic imaging of the head, neck, brain, and spine. He is a magna cum laude graduate of Harvard College and earned his medical degree from Washington University in St. Louis School of Medicine. He then completed a medical internship at the Brigham and Women's Hospital, followed by diagnostic radiology residency and neuroradiology fellowship at Massachusetts General Hospital, both affiliates of Harvard Medical School. Dr. Deng is a recognized educator both locally and internationally. He has authored chapters in bestselling textbooks such as First Aid for the USMLE Step 1 and Core Radiology: A Visual Approach to Diagnostic Imaging. He is an Editor of Radiopaedia.org and was Co-Convener of the Radiopaedia 2024 Virtual Conference, which had more than 13,000 registrants globally. With Medality (MRI Online), he was core faculty for the Fellowship Certificate programs on Brain & Spine Neuroradiology and for Stroke Imaging. For several high-impact radiology journals, Dr. Deng has received distinguished reviewer awards and served in editorial roles. He was a Visiting Scholar with the American Board of Medical Specialties in 2023-2024 and, as a student, served on the Board of Directors of the National Resident Matching Program. Dr. Deng has an academic interest in diagnostic excellence and error. Locally, he holds regular quality assurance conferences for radiology residents to learn from misses and misinterpretations. He hosted a podcast series on this topic published under the aegis of the American Journal of Roentgenology. He also serves as an expert witness in medical liability/malpractice cases.

Dr. Russell Vang is Professor of Pathology and Gynecology and Obstetrics at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. His area of clinical expertise is gynecologic pathology. Dr. Vang serves as the director of the Division of Gynecologic Pathology In-house Service and co-director of the Gynecologic Pathology Consultation Service.He earned his M.D. from the University of Texas-Southwestern Medical School. Dr. Vang completed his residency in Pathology at the University of Texas Health Science Center in Houston. Additional training included fellowships at the Armed Forces Institute of Pathology (Gynecologic & Breast Pathology) and Stanford University Medical Center (Surgical Pathology).Dr. Vang's research interests include primary and secondary epithelial tumors of the ovary and Fallopian tube.He serves on the editorial boards of American Journal of Surgical Pathology and International Journal of Gynecological Pathology. He has been recognized by the International Society of Gynecological Pathologists with the Robert E. Scully Young Investigator Award (2007). Dr. Vang is a member of several professional organizations, including the International Society of Gynecological Pathologists and the Arthur Purdy Stout Society of Surgical Pathologists.
