Lower Shore Child Care Resource Center

The Eastern Shore Child Care Resource Center (ESCCRC) is a state-funded agency that collaborates with child care providers, early educators, community organizations, and families in Somerset, Worcester, Wicomico, Caroline, Dorchester, Kent, Queen Anne's, and Talbot counties to enhance the availability of quality child care services. As a member of the Maryland Child Care Resource Network, ESCCRC offers high-quality training, program resources, technical assistance, and coaching to early childhood professionals caring for infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and school-age children.

Under the guidance of Dr. Chin Hsiu Chen, Associate Professor of Early Childhood Education at Salisbury University, ESCCRC is committed to promoting the early childhood profession, advocating for the highest quality learning environments for young children, and addressing the unique needs of all families on the Eastern Shore.
