Lily’s Shop

History

Lily was born with Down syndrome and a complete AV canal defect of her heart. She had open heart surgery at just four-months-old. Since then, she has thrived! During the time spent in the hospital with her daughter, our founder wanted to start a non-profit to pay for everyone's hospital bills! Knowing that your child is sick, yet also worrying about financial difficulties at the same time is too much! However, the hope to begin a non-profit felt out of reach-until now. We opened Lily's Shop in September 2020. We gained our Non-Profit status July 2021 and we couldn't be more proud of it! We had no idea what we were doing and continue to learn as we go. We like to say that we are a 'work in progress'. Our goals have not changed. We still want to pay people's hospital bills! Moreover, we hope to help wherever we see need. We will do it all with a smile and good cheer in the hopes that each person we help will feel compelled to smile and offer help to someone else.
