Since re-opening its doors for business in December 2005, Kensington Pharmacy has become a place where everyone knows each other, much like that beloved TV series "Cheers" ( except, no alcoholic beverages, and cigarettes ). Huseyin C. Tunc, RPh, MBA: The father in the family is a graduate of Pharmacy School of University of Istanbul, Turkey, and University of Maryland, and also has an MBA degree from University of Phoenix. Prior to re-opening Kensington Pharmacy, Huseyin has spent 22 years with a national supermarket-drug chain. His positions included staff pharmacist, pharmacy manager, pharmacy regional supervisor and pharmacy division director. While working at retail, also by working at Holy Cross Hospital pharmacy for many years, he gained clinical pharmacy experience. H. Pinar Tunc: The mother of the family who has been a backbone since the family's inception back in 1978. With a smile on her face, she fills in gaps in the pharmacy, places a women-touch, and keeps the family straight. Zeynep T. Tunc, Pharm. D: She is the pharmacist known as "Z". After graduating in 2006 with a Doctor of Pharmacy degree, and with 7 years of pharmacy technician experience, Zeynep quickly became a sought-after face in the pharmacy Melike G. Tunc, Pharm. D: Although she is the latest edition to the pharmacy as a pharmacist in mid 2008, she too has many years of pharmacy technician experience. Many customers are already familiar with her smile and friendly attitude. In addition to the family, the pharmacy team includes: Allen Aku, Brian Minnick, Resul Akdemir, Pattie Correas, Saba Seyrafi, Ellie Rahgozar, Jackie Molina, Ertan Gokalp and the delivery driver Myron Gale.
