John P. Carey, MD

Dr. Babar Shafiq is an orthopaedic surgeon fellowship trained in traumatology who performs surgery for acute trauma and adult reconstruction. As an Associate Professor of Orthopaedic Surgery at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, the Johns Hopkins Hospital and Johns Hopkins Howard County Medical Center. Dr. Shafiq is very active clinically caring for patients with a broad range of orthopaedic injuries and conditions. He has practiced orthopaedic traumatology at the Johns Hopkins Hospital since 2013 after spending 2 years serving as the Director of Orthopaedic Trauma at Howard University Hospital where he also completed his medical and residency training. In addition, Dr. Shafiq formerly practiced Physical Therapy after completing a master's degree prior to attending medical school. Jennifer D Yeagle, M.Ed., CCC-A earned her Master’s degree in Audiology from University of Virginia in 1998. She completed her bachelor’s degree in Communication Disorders/Speech Language Pathology from the University of Central Florida in 1995. She joined the Johns Hopkins Listening Center in 1999 and specializes in cochlear implantation assessment, programming and case management for adults with special interest in the elderly population.

Courtney L. Carver, Au.D., CCC-A., earned her doctorate in audiology from the University of Florida. Dr. Carver is trained in the field of audiology. She offers professional audiological services, including cochlear implant consultation, programming, and counseling in pediatric and adult populations.
