Jeffrey Peter Bui, MD

Dr. Jeffrey Peter Bui is a Hospitalist, the Chair Elect of the Department of Medicine, and the Medical Director of Clinical Informatics at Suburban Hospital. He is dedicated to combining compassionate, patient-centered care with the latest advances in medicine and technology. Known for listening closely and explaining with clarity, Dr. Bui believes the best care comes from a strong partnership between doctor and patient. His leadership roles allow him to bring this philosophy into the way care is delivered at Suburban Hospital. Dr. Bui completed his medical training at Georgetown University, St. George’s University, and New York-Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital, where he developed his passion for guiding patients through complex health challenges. His work at Suburban Hospital focuses on making care safer, more efficient, and more personal by integrating innovative technology into everyday practice. He has been recognized with the Johns Hopkins Medicine Clinical Award for Innovations in Clinical Care and induction into the Johns Hopkins Academy of Clinical Excellence, honors that reflect both his commitment to advancing medicine and his dedication to patients. Outside the hospital, Dr. Bui enjoys spending time with his family and takes pride in fostering a supportive, collaborative community among his colleagues.
