Jason Smith, DO - Chesapeake Urology

Chesapeake Urology is the largest urology practice in Maryland and the Mid-Atlantic region, providing a comprehensive array of urologic services to patients. Dr. Edney has been a urologist with Peninsula Urology, now Chesapeake Urology, since 2004. His clinical interests are in laparoscopic and robotic surgery including robotic prostatectomy, robotic partial nephrectomy, robotic pyeloplasty, and laparoscopic nephrectomy and renal cryotherapy. He also sees adult and pediatric patients with a full range of general urologic problems.

Dr. Shimko joined Peninsula Urology, now Chesapeake Urology, in 2012 after completing his urology residency at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN. He also served as an associate staff member and instructor in urology at the Mayo Clinic. His clinical interests include endourology/stone disease, robotic prostatectomy, robotic partial nephrectomy, robotic pyeloplasty, and robotic female reconstructive surgery.
