The Islamic Society of Cumberland is a non-profit Islamic organization dedicated to serving Allah by establishing a mosque in Western Maryland and the northeast part of West Virginia. Since October 2012, the organization has acquired a building and land with plans for a larger mosque and Islamic Center in the future, relying on the generous support of donations from the community.

With a mission to provide a place of worship and community for Muslims in the area, the Islamic Society of Cumberland welcomes visitors and encourages contributions to help further their goals. I stopped by here for Friday prayer! Great place!!! Building was just bought recently so more work need to be done however separate place for brothers and sisters to pray! Very quite and peaceful...

Beautiful small mosque. Very neat and clean. Community is diverse, friendly, and welcoming. Nicely upgraded recently. 1/4 a mile from I68 exit. Two houses next to LaVale Christ Lutheran Church.
