History
Our founder and creative director, Maria Fenton, is a fifth generation master tailor and fashion designer. She was born in a London where her uncles are bespoke tailors and grew up in New York and New England. At 15, Maria got her first client: a young lady in need of a prom dress. Since then, Maria continued to honed her craft and is now working out the metropolitan DC area in an atelier in Mount Rainier.
Specialties
Our business specializes in bespoke suits and special occasion garments: gowns, wedding dresses, luxury coats. We also specialize in bespoke shoes and handmade accessories. Our team is comprised of master tailors, leather artisans, jewelry makers and embroidered, textile artists and stylists. We have a commitment to sustainability and a particularly poised to restyle or up-style previously loved garments.
