The Carroll County Volunteer Emergency Services Association (CCVESA) is dedicated to providing comprehensive emergency services, including fire, rescue, and EMS training programs. With a focus on community engagement and volunteerism, CCVESA plays a vital role in enhancing public safety through education and support for local fire and rescue personnel.

This is a great county park. There's a nature center and a series of trails so you can do a short leg stretcher or a longer hike (up to just under 5 miles on a series of trail loops). Be careful...

Overall nice hike with several trails. Dog friendly, Great place to bring your family to go hiking in nature.

Went to Hashawa in sixth grade for outdoor school. Amazing food, nice teachers, but the beds in the cabins are rock hard. The night hikes were fun, especially the campfire Monday night. Bear...

This review is NOT for the grounds... it is only for the Cabins... I was with a group that stayed there recently and overnight I was attacked by bed bugs. Beware if you are considering camping...
