Happy Sprouts Learning Center

Happy Sprouts Learning Center is a center-based day care that provides safe, competent and child-centered childcare services for children from 2 years old through School-Age. Our philosophy is that children need to be loved, nurtured and feel safe in order to learn. Our primary goals is to help foster hope in children and to increase their curiosity, a vital aspect for learning, as well as to help them learn autonomy and self-help skills. Our program offers a stimulating Maryland Department of Education approved curriculum that provides age-appropriate cognitive, social-emotional, physical and creative activities to help your child develop positive self-esteem. The curriculum offers project-based learning in the areas of science, math, literacy, and social studies which provides your child a foundation for Kindergarten and school readiness. Other components of the program include learning Spanish language during the academic year, the importance of physical activity, music and the arts. Every Spring, the children practice and perform in a spring musical play with much enthusiasm. The Center also offers Before & After Care during the academic year. Children are provided nutritious snacks as well as breakfast and lunch throughout the year.
