Glenwood Middle School

Established in 1967, Glenwood Middle School serves more than 600 students in grades six through eight. The school is a part of the Howard County Public Schools, which operates various elementary, middle and high schools and serves more than 47,000 students. It provides education in a range of subjects, such as reading, math, science and social studies. The school curriculum includes French and Spanish as foreign languages. Additionally, it offers summer and special education programs. The school s extracurricular activities include music, art and physical education. It has a counseling division that offers social and academic guidance. Glenwood Middle School operates a parent-teacher association and offers various clubs, such as literary debate, yearbook, astronomy, art, bird watchers and drama production.
