Partners Tom Acton and Shelley Miller own Get Out & Play Outfitters. Collectively their experience includes nearly 30 years service with the Maryland Department of Natural Resources. The last four years of their service with DNR were completely dedicated to the creation and implementation of the Nature Tourism program. They have been instrumental in designing the structure of the program, working with private guides and outfitters in developing cooperative partnerships and working with the public in creating packages for adventure vacations.
