Gate of Heaven Cemetery is a part of the Catholic Cemeteries of the Archdiocese of Washington. The cemetery ground offers many burial alternatives. Memorials for below ground burials can be either traditional upright monuments, or flush bronze memorials. It also offers the option of aboveground entombment in wall crypts, enhanced with a facade of polished granite. Cremains may be entombed in a niche in the mausoleums or buried in the ground of its cremation gardens. Cemeteries also a part of the Catholic Cemeteries of the Archdiocese of Washington include Mount Olivet, St. Mary's Queen of Peace, Resurrection, and All Souls cemeteries. The archdiocese works with various funeral homes, including Arehart-Echols, Muriel H. Barber, Donald V. Borgwardt, Brinsfield-Echols, and Francis J. Collins. Gate of Heaven Cemetery is located in Silver Spring, Md.
