Really neat history and beautiful buildings and grounds. Plus a nature trail. On our way north from the OBX we made this our stop by place and enjoyed it very much. So well done.

Nice peaceful spot. Great place to learn history and hike a trail. BEWARE OF TICKS. I would suggest hiking the trail in Spring or Fall... or completely drowning in deet before you go.
