1901 E Lombard St
Baltimore, MD 21231

History

The Convent House @ 1901 East Lombard is a small, exclusive historically certified residence. Previously a nunnery, this gated community offers 10 distinctive apartments in a unique building and a charming courtyard setting. Ideal for Johns Hopkins students and other professionals to live, socialize and enjoy.

Specialties

Almost all of our residents have loved living here at The Convent House and are sentimental about leaving when time comes for them to graduate to the next step in their lives. With very few exceptions, it has been a joy to have them as members of our Community and we are proud of our current 100% occupancy rate. Regrettably, however, we recently experienced one such exception: a tenant who we are asking to leave because of his failure to abide by the rules prohibiting smoking and use of illegal substances on the premises. Upon substantiation of multiple complaints by residents, our respect for the rights of the Community coupled with our commitment to comply with the law have left us no choice but to terminate his/her residence. While we hope that it will not be the case, we understand and accept that this tenant's resulting dissatisfaction may prompt a negative Yelp review. We are posting this now in the interest of full transparency and trust that prospective residents will receive it in the intended spirit. POSTED JUNE 9, 2017

Poor Maintenance. Leave's out cans that trash collectors won't take because not in bags. Also missing required trash lids.

I was a tenant of 1901 E. Lombard - I moved out in September 2015. The landlords are completely absentee. Don and Velma are in their 80's. They live about 40 minutes from the property. Their...
