First Fruits Farm is a nonprofit Christian ministry based in Freeland, MD, committed to alleviating hunger by providing fresh, nutritious food to those in need through volunteer efforts and community partnerships. Since its inception in 1998, the Farm has donated over 31 million pounds of produce, delivering 124 million servings to food banks, shelters, and other organizations across Maryland and the Mid-Atlantic region.
In 2024, the Farm distributed 4.7 million pounds of healthy food, including contributions from a network of 300 distribution partners and the support of 238 dedicated volunteers. With a mission grounded in faith and community, First Fruits Farm continues to serve as a vital resource for those facing food insecurity in the area.
