so happy we found this place! first of all, the street it's on is super cute. it really reminded me of provincetown in massachusetts! the inside of the shop was nice as well. i LOVE the options...

Family owned business by two families, locals to Sykesville MD. Building is a historic site. Firehouse Creamery was the first building to house the first Sykesville fire trucks in the 1930's. Firehouse Creamery has won multiple awards.

We have 24 flavors of ice cream, hand scooped & ice cream cartons to-go... Also, fresh milk, cheese, cream and seasonal dairy specials. GMO free- locally sourced meat, eggs, granola, raw milk cheese, nuts, Baughers Farm items, DC Dill pickles, locally handmade bakery and bread items. In addition, MD State gear, JO Spices, jellies, local Wildflower honey, Zeke'sCoffee beans-NitroBrew-hot coffee. Sauces, hot sauce, handcrafted crackers and handmade dog cookies...etc. Locally sourced...Farm-to-table...all natural...fresh everything!

The staff is very welcoming to everyone. The ice is creamy and hot the spot after dinner and doing a little shopping. They have milk and tea in bottles!!
