In 2012, he became a co-leader of the community intervention of the Johns Hopkins Community Health Partnership, a grant from the Center for Medicare and Medicaid Innovation. After receiving his bachelor’s degree in physics from Harvard College, Dr. Zollinger worked for Goldman Sachs as an analyst and then associate in fixed income. Transitioning to a medical career, he earned a master’s degree in healthcare management from the Wharton School and an M.D. from the University of Pennsylvania. He went on to complete his internship and residency in internal medicine at Brigham and Women’s Hospital.
