The phone number says the business is closed during the stated open hours and I get hung up on. I never received a bill but they put a lien on my car accident claim. If this isn't a scam, why not...

Here's an update to my last post. WaPo has a good article that details the surprise billing that you can receive from EMA once you leave an emergency room that they're contracted with....

After getting numerous invoices with different amounts due I finally called and was told I was due $24.48 which I mailed. I received another statement with 21.58 due and something told me to call....

This is a scam. Hung up on me when I asked what was it regarding. Says I owe money but I definitely do not. Very sketchy.
